Foundation History

The DRI Research Foundation was formed in 1982 as a not-for-profit, 501 (c)(3) to financially support the mission and vision of the Desert Research Institute.  Today, trustees from across the Unites States assist in furthering the activities of the Foundation through friendraising and fundraising which supports DRI’s research, scientists and students.
